We take pride in creating gourmet pizza, pasta and salad, and have been repeatedly voted “Kansas City’s Best Pizza” – all thanks to our fans! To celebrate our 39th birthday, we’re giving back to First Responders for a second year!

We owe so much to all the First Responders of Kansas City for protecting both residents and our restaurants, and we’d like to give back! So on Thursday, March 19, we made surprise deliveries to various Fire and Police Stations throughout the metro!

The Minsky’s March Mayhem Bracket Challenge has come to a close and we’re excited to announce Dennis Deeney as our $1000 gift card winner! Dennis beat out 750 other contestants, picking three out of the Final Four teams correct and correctly picking the Duke Blue Devils as the National Champions! Congrats, Dennis! Winning $1000 of the best pizza in town is certainly enough to put a smile on anyone’s face!

Dennis visited our Barry Road East store to receive his prize. Managers Cody Viera and Dave Reeder even surprised Dennis with one of his Minsky’s gourmet favorites: a large Tostada Pizza! Minsky’s Lawrence is honored to participate in the Lawrence Educator of the Month and Year!

The Lawrence community has the ability to nominate their favorite educator of the year through a few local sponsors, including Minsky’s, Meritrust Credit Union and Crown Automotive.

Danielle Lotton-Barker, a gifted education/enrichment teacher at Southwest Middle School, won the esteemed award for the 2014-15 school year. Along with a pizza party for her class, Lotton-Barker won a cash award and the opportunity to drive a car of her choice from Crown Auto for one year.

Minsky’s also provided the banquet for nominees and the friends and family, and will continue to participate in this excellent program. View photos from the event below.
