Terry Franz, also known around Kansas City as the ‘Car Santa’, founded Cars 4 Heroes as a way to give back to veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families. Reliable transportation is essential, directly impacting the ability of those in need to access critical resources like employment and healthcare. Every car donated is given to a hero in our community unless the vehicle is deemed not road-worthy, in which case it is sold to help repair other cars for the program.
Cars 4 Heroes has grown exponentially over the years and the non-profit organization now donates over 300 cars a year to those who need them most! This Veteran’s Day, Cars 4 Heroes will be donating a wheelchair capable van to a worthy veteran!
