Minsky’s is proud to sponsor the Jacomo Bike Racing Team! Based out of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, the semi-pro Jacomo Bike Team is made up of Category 2, 3 and Masters riders competing in races as well tours throughout the KC area.
Join the Jacomo Bike Team May 27, 2019 as they ride in memory of fallen teammate, Justin Leopold. This 65-mile ride will begin and end at our City Market Minsky’s location.

“Let’s get together this Memorial Day to honor and remember one of the most brilliant guys to enter the Kansas City cycling community, Justin Leopold. A caring friend to many, an amazing father and husband, a motivator, competitor, and former nuclear engineer for the Navy; Justin is a legend that will never be forgotten.
To honor his legacy, there will be a few routes available for varying levels of cyclists to enjoy, as Justin loved and encouraged all forms of cycling. There will be a 65-mile route with cutoffs to make a 56 or 42-mile ride (routes will be available for download once set). All are encouraged to complete the route that will have them finish around noon.
Following the ride, please join us for pizza as we reminisce on memories of Justin and share our mutual friendship of the iconic cyclist. Donations will be accepted after the ride to help support Ally and the boys, Cameron and Luke, as they continue on without their beloved husband and father. Let’s celebrate Justin!”
