To kick off Minsky’s 40th Anniversary this month, Minsky’s Founder Gregg Johnson made a special pizza delivery to the Mayor of Kansas City, Sylvester James! Gregg and GMs Brent Wittrock and Kenny Kantner delivered Mayor James a Prime Cut gourmet pizza (the Mayor’s favorite!), along with another half dozen or so gourmet creations for the Mayor’s City Hall staff.
To recognize the anniversary, the Mayor signed and presented the Minsky’s delivery crew with an Official Mayoral Proclamation recognizing Minsky’s achievements as a business in Kansas City – including “employing thousands of Kansas Citians” over the years, and “four decades of making the best pizza” in town. Not a bad way to begin Minsky’s 40th anniversary!
Minsky’s also announced a third-year-in-a-row “First Responders Weekend.” To honor and thank Kansas City’s bravest, Minsky’s will be delivering complementary pizzas to Kansas

City metro area Fire and Police Departments on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016. And, to continue to show appreciation for all they do, Minsky’s is offering all First Responders of Kansas City 25% off of their entire order from March 3rd though March 6th, 2016!
And this is just the beginning of our celebration, after all, 40 years is a long time! Minsky’s intends to make the most of it – and help benefit several Kansas City charities along the way (not to mention throwing one heck of a party!)
